Your Dental Implant Options
We know not every procedure will be ideal for every person. Everyone has their own unique situation, and this is why we give all of our patients the customized treatment they deserve. For example, although dentures are seen as a quick fix, we understand that denture implants may not be ideal for everyone. Therefore, we have three other main procedures that we can offer our patients.
Here at Pleasant Valley Dentistry, we offer a five-year warranty on all four of our implant procedure options. For the five years after the warranty term, the only costs the patient would be responsible for are lab costs.
The cost of treatment varies depending on each patient’s necessary procedures. Regardless of your budget, we don't want cost to stand in the way of your oral health care or happiness with your smile. We offer different financing and payment options and work with a network of different insurance providers. Contact our team anytime to go over different payment plan options that would suit your situation best.
All-on-4
This incredible technique involves the use of only four implants to support a fixed permanent prosthesis made from solid zirconia. Due to exciting advances in dental implant technology, patients can replace all of their teeth easily with just these four implants. All-on-4 can offer patients fully customizable options that won't restrict them in the foods they eat or the activities they enjoy.
Single Implants
Mainly used to replace damaged or missing teeth and designed to be permanent, titanium implants are considered the most common type of implant, due to their durability and functionality First, a titanium post is inserted into the jawbone at the site of the missing tooth. Next, a dental crown is screwed into the titanium post. Over the recovery time, the implant and the bone are able to bond together, forming an anchor for the artificial tooth. A temporary tooth replacement option can be worn over the implant site during this time.
Zygomatic Dental Implants
Unlike conventional single dental implants, which are secured in the jawbone, zygomatic dental implants are surgically placed in the zygomatic (cheek) bones. With support coming from a strong, stable facial bone, these dental implants do not require alterations of the jawbone, such as bone grafting, to support a bridge of fixed teeth. Zygomatic implants are one of the most complex surgeries in implant dentistry and few dentists are trained in this procedure. Zygomatic dental implants are only considered when the loss of jawbone is significant.
Full and Partial Dentures
Traditional full or partial dentures give the wearer natural-looking replacements for any missing teeth they may have. This method can also be used to completely refurbish either arch. However, concerns associated with dentures can include:
• continuation of bone loss
• prone to breakage
• foul smell
• food restrictions
This is why we offer different denture implant options, as well as alternatives to dentures. Our goal is to give the patient the best solution for their specifically needs.
